There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing a mother & daughter laughing together. Smiling! Interacting! Photographing these two frolic around on the bed spread … surrounded by candles, crochet, Dreamcatchers & the sound of waves ….was such a joy!

Little Matilda’s mum – Sarah (who is also one of my most dearest friends) – started making Dreamcatchers last year… and has launched the magical business “Dare to Dream Creations”. When she first showed me a selection of her crochet inspired designs, I was so excited! I just HAD to do a little photo shoot!  The “Pink Bird Dreamcatcher” that she made recently… seen at the end of this blog, blew me away! I’d never seen anything like it!  So, so beautiful.

Sarah’s a busy mum, and little Matilda – who is such a little explorer, always on the run! – requires a lot of mamma’s attention! So unfortunately at the moment she keeps her time spent each week making Dreamcatchers fairly minimal … but she always has a new Dreamcatcher on the go… each one is specially handmade in Byron Bay with love & care… packaged… and sent off to anywhere in Australia. They are great for babies rooms, or adults alike. I have my own vintage cream crochet birthday Dare to Dream Dreamcatcher in my bedroom and stare at it every night before I drift off to sleep. So watch this space… Lots more amazing, inspiring things to come from this gorgeous mamma!
