Such a special blog post this one… first trip to USA, shooting in the most amazing house with the most epic crew! Interior decor heaven exists… a world of beauty hidden in the streets of L.A. Shooting with Mimi was the cutest experience ever, a delightful little fairy floating through the clay walls and the cactus plants… walking over boulders buried in turquoise swimming pools that surrounded the lounge… everything was oversized… i sank into the couches… wandered the vast hallways… wanting to never leave… savouring every moment i could… for a moment it was my world… who knew a house could hold such power over me… bring so much magic to my day… ?

Spelly worked her styling magic as always, the vibrant blues and purples prints popping amoungst the cream walls and beige decor… ! stunning!

MIMI’S LOOK:

HAIR: I went for a relaxed, boho look… keeping her hair slightly dishevelled and volumous… I used Kevin Murphy ANTI.GRAVITY spray prior to tonging, then texturised her hair throughout the day using RESORT.SPRAY & POWDER.PUFF (which Mimi has said is one of her favourite KEVIN MURPHY products! Just powder it onto the roots of your hair to give grit & texture & volume to the hair!) I also added a few brown hair extensions to add some length and volume, from Medussa Hair Extensions.

MAKEUP: With Mimi’s makeup – I kept her fresh & dewy. Golds on the eye’s using URBAN DECAY – NAKED Pallet 1, Becca liquid highlighter mixed in with YSL foundation, Elizabeth Arden 8 hr cream on lips.
